Terms of Use
Free to use
No account, no signup, no payment.
Lawful use only
Public decks, personal or study use.
No bypassing
Private and restricted content stays private.
Acceptance
Using the downloader, reading a guide page, or following a link on this site counts as accepting these terms. The tool is free to use and requires no account, so there is no signup step where terms are accepted separately — use itself is the acceptance.
Who may use it
Anyone may use the tool for lawful purposes. There is no age gate and no account, and the tool never asks for personal details, so there is nothing to verify. If you are using the tool on behalf of someone else — for example, downloading a deck for a class or a team — you are responsible for making sure that use is lawful and respects the original author's rights.
Permitted use
You may use the tool to download public SlideShare presentations for lawful personal use, study, research, teaching, or professional reference, subject to the original author's rights and to any licence the author has stated. You may keep a downloaded file on your own device, print it for personal use, and quote from it with credit to the author, in the same way you would quote from any published work.
Prohibited use
You must not use this tool, or this site, to:
- Download, or try to download, a private, restricted, removed, or login-only presentation, or to bypass any access control on SlideShare.
- Redistribute, sell, republish, or claim someone else's presentation as your own without the owner's permission.
- Use downloaded material in a way that breaks applicable law, including copyright law.
- Abuse the tool: sending an excessive volume of requests, trying to overload the site, probing it for weaknesses, or using it through automated scripts designed to harvest decks at scale.
- Paste passwords, private links, or links to content you do not have a right to access. The tool cannot use them, and you should not share them here.
The site operator may block or limit access that appears abusive, and may change or remove the tool at any time, without notice.
Intellectual property
Two different kinds of content are involved, and they belong to different owners. The text, design, and guide content of this site belong to the site operator. The presentations themselves belong to their original authors: downloading a deck does not transfer copyright to you, and it does not grant you a licence to redistribute, sell, or rebrand it. SlideShare and LinkedIn names and logos belong to their respective owners; this site uses the name only to describe what the tool works with, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by either.
Downloads and accuracy
Exports are rebuilt from the slide images SlideShare serves for a public deck — they are not the original editable files. That means a PPTX from this tool contains picture slides, not editable text, shapes, or animations, and a PDF may omit a slide image that could not be fetched at that moment. Image quality is the largest size SlideShare serves for that deck, up to 2048 pixels wide, and images are never upscaled. The site does not promise that a particular deck will stay public, that a download will succeed, or that an export will match the original deck exactly.
Availability
The tool is provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee. SlideShare may change its pages, block fetching, or remove decks, and the site itself may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside the operator's control. If a download fails, the troubleshooting guide explains the common causes and what to try next.
Liability, in plain words
To the extent allowed by applicable law, the site operator is not liable for how you use a downloaded file, for a deck becoming unavailable, for a failed or incomplete download, or for any loss that follows from relying on an export as if it were the original file. Nothing in these terms limits liability where applicable law does not allow it to be limited. You are responsible for the links you paste and for how you use downloaded material.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time, for example if the tool gains a format or changes a limit. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated terms. The current version of this page is the version that applies.
Contact
Questions about these terms, and copyright reports, can be sent by email via the contact page. The only contact channel is email, at slidesharefetch@gmail.com. No phone or live-chat support is offered. See the privacy policy and the disclaimer for the related pages.
